Communication Arts Center was built in 1978 and occupies 54,456 square feet. CAC is a classroom and office building, which also houses the campus radio station.
This building is heated by steam and cooled with both well water and chilled water from Strayer-Wood Theatre.
The goal of the University is to decrease energy consumption in all buildings on campus. Each individual plays a part in this by reducing their energy use and every little bit helps.
The University as a whole has been working towards educating the university community about energy-conscious actions and techniques to establish responsible lifelong behaviors.
