The UNI-Dome was built in 1976 and occupies 250,005 square feet. This building is heated and cooled with steam and well water respectively.
The goal of the University is to decrease energy consumption in all buildings on campus. Each individual plays a part in this by reducing their energy use and every little bit helps.
The University as a whole has been working towards educating the university community about energy-conscious actions and techniques to establish responsible lifelong behaviors.
