UNI-Dome Open Recreation is for adults (18 and older) from the UNI community and the general public. Typical open-recreation activities include UNI Wellness & Recreation Services (WRS) sport club practices, WRS intramural activities, UNI student body touch football or ultimate Frisbee pick-up games, and walking/jogging.

A supervisor is on duty to monitor recreation activities and respond to emergencies. There is no I.D. check, but the supervisor reserves the right to verify participants' age.

The UNI-Dome is open to the public during the following times, unless there is an event or UNI Athletic practice; these events pre-empt open recreation time. Please check the UNI-Dome website calendar in advance or call the Operations Office to ensure the Dome's availability, 319-273-6334.

ATTENTION

Open Rec will be closed on the following dates:

February: 10th, 11th, 18th, 28th
March 1-4th, 9th(no evening), 10th, 11th, 14-18th, 21st, 22nd

During working hours (8-5) all the UNI-Dome entrances will be open. During non-working hours (i.e. evening hours), please enter the UNI-Dome through the tunnel connecting the UNI-Dome to the Wellness and Recreation Center.
