Conference Tour

This year’s tour will start at PowerFilm, Inc. of Ames. PowerFilm develops and manufactures thin, flexible solar modules for OEM, military and consumer needs. Next, the tour will move across the parking lot and visit Alliant Energy’s area office. There, we will discover how the energy gridwork functions and tools/ equipment used to keep it operating. Time permitting, we will cross the road and visit Blue Ski Ice Cream and see how their ice cream is made.

Thursday, October 28 from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Cost is $20. Firstcome, first-served.
