This institute credit option is designed for teachers interested in implementing a comprehensive literacy model. Topics include an overview of the Partnerships in Comprehensive Literacy and the Comprehensive Intervention Model; using a workshop framework across the school day for reading, writing, language and content; and collaboration between classroom teachers and interventionists.
*Graduate workshop credit will apply toward licensure renewal. This course may or may not apply toward a graduate degree; please check with your higher education institution. This workshop credit course does not apply toward a Literacy Education master’s degree at the University of Northern Iowa.
