The Richard O. Jacobson Center for Comprehensive Literacy and the Reading Recovery Program of Iowa welcome you to the Fourth Annual Jacobson Center and Reading Recovery Literacy Academy – a place of study and training in Partnerships in Comprehensive Literacy and Reading Recovery – held October 20-21, 2015 at the University of Northern Iowa Maucker Union.  A special celebration is planned to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Reading Recovery in Iowa. 

Specific strands will be available for:

  • Reading Recovery teachers and teacher leaders
  • Comprehensive Literacy Model (CLM) coaches and classroom teachers
  • Comprehensive Intervention Model (CIM) coaches, CIM teachers, and interventionists
  • Partnerships in Comprehensive Literacy (PCL) Administrators

Keynote speakers include Dr. Doug Fisher, Professor of Educational Leadership at San Diego State University and a teacher leader at Health Sciences High & Middle College, Dr. Linda Dorn, Professor of Reading Education at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, and Dr. Salli Forbes, Director of the Reading Recovery Program of Iowa and Jacobson Center for Comprehensive Literacy.
