The Richard O. Jacobson Center for Comprehensive Literacy and the Reading Recovery Program of Iowa welcome you to the Fifth Annual Jacobson Center and Reading Recovery Literacy Academy – a place of study and training in Partnerships in Comprehensive Literacy and Reading Recovery – held October 5-6, 2016 at the University of Northern Iowa Maucker Union.

Specific strands will be available for:

  • Reading Recovery teachers and teacher leaders
  • Comprehensive Literacy Model (CLM) coaches and classroom teachers
  • Comprehensive Intervention Model (CIM) coaches, CIM teachers, and interventionists
  • Partnerships in Comprehensive Literacy (PCL) Administrators

Keynote speakers include Brian Pinkney, award winning children’s book illustrator, fine artist, and author and Dr. Richard Allington, Professor of Literacy Studies at the University of Tennessee.
