Enrollment Information:
To enroll for one hour of graduate credit, complete the online enrollment form (the second option) at: http://www.uni.edu/continuinged/enroll/ or contact University of Northern Iowa Continuing Eduction at 1/800-648-3864 or 319-273-5970 and request that an enrollment form be mailed to you. Submit your credit enrollment form by June 4.280:133g Mentoring: A Key to Iowa's Future (1 credit graduate credit hour)

Course will be offered on a credit/no credit basis.Graduate Credit Requirements for 1-hour credit:
1. Attend the Mentoring and Induction Institute June 18-20.
2. Write a reflection on on the Wednesday night Keynote. List and discuss at least three of Dr. Tyrone Howard’s implications for teachers in multicultural schools. Are any of the things that Dr. Howard talked about happening in your building or classroom? Explain
3. Write a review of Dr. Marcia Tate’s workshop. Select four different strategies that she speaks about and explain the strategy and how you would find it beneficial to use.
4.Select two of the table topics to participate in on Friday morning and then write about them and explain what you learned that you can use in your work or in your district.
5. After digesting what you have learned during the Institute write how you have benefited from this conference and what changes you will make because of what you have learned. If you have any disappointments, celebrations or suggestions in regard to the Institute please share them.
6. Email the paperwork to Beverly.Riess@uni.edu. If you would like the paperwork back, please send a self-addressed and stamped envelope to Beverly Riess, 13851 Lakeview Drive, Clive, IA 50325.
7. Please send the paperwork to Bev no later than July 25, 2008. Include your name, address, school/position, email and phone on the cover sheet.
