Founded in May 1815, the North American Review is the longest-lived literary magazine in the United States. From its early days in Boston to its current incarnation in Cedar Falls, Iowa, the NAR has been recognized time and again as a national institution of great cultural significance. To celebrate our bicentennial, we’re hosting a creative writing and literature conference on the campus of the University of Northern Iowa, where the magazine has been housed since 1968. The conference will look back at the NAR’s long and storied past while also looking to the future of the literary world as we bring together a wide range of writers, critics, artists, and teachers from around the country to share their work. We hope you’ll join us for the celebration!
Registration is $100 per person before April 22nd; $125 per person after April 22nd. Student rate is $75.
Guest passes are available for $10 per person per day!
