University of Northern Iowa Multimodal Transportation Center

A two-level parking deck and transit facility will be constructed just east of Campbell Hall during 2008-09.

The deck replaces the Commons parking lot and four university-owned houses. House movers relocated two sorority houses to university-owned lots one block north.

• Approximate total surface lot and deck - 550 spaces
• Permit spaces - 380
• Public parking meter spaces - 170
• Net increase of parking spaces on campus - 350
• Completion date - November 2009
• Cost - approximately $12,053,000
