PAF Type: ALL


Description:

Non-temporary Assignment Categories define which pay and work schedule the position will be following. In addition, it defines the length of the employee's appointment.

Temporary Assignment Categories define which pay and work schedule the position will be following. Although temporary positions typically follow the suggested appointment length, in some unique cases they may have varying Appointment Lengths.

Definitions

NON-TEMPORARY

  • NT AY Pd 10: Non-temporary position following the academic year work schedule and paid over a 10 month period.

  • NT AY Pd 12: Non-temporary position following the academic year work schedule and paid over a 12 month period.
    Special Note
    Special Note: This category may not be used for new Faculty appointments.

    Special Note
    Special Note: If employee is moving from 10 month to 12 month pay schedule or visa versa the employee must complete the Pay Frequency Change Form requesting this option.

  • NT AY 10 Pd 10: Non-temporary position following the academic year work schedule plus 15 additional days. Paid over a 10 month period.

  • NT AY 10 Pd 12: Non-temporary position following the academic year word schedule plus 15 additional days. Paid over a 12 month period.
    Special Note Special Note: This category may not be used for new Faculty appointments.

  • NT AY 11 Pd 12: Non-temporary position following the academic year work schedule plus two (2) months. Paid over a 12 month period.

  • NT Calendar: Non-Temporary position following 12 months a year and paid over a 12 month period.

  • NT Hourly: Non-Temporary Hourly


TEMPORARY

  • T Fall or T Spring: Temporary position following the Fall and/or Spring schedule and paid over five (5) months.

  • T AY Pd 10: Temporary position following the academic year schedule and paid over 10 month period.

  • T AY 10 Pd 10: Temporary position following the academic year work schedule plus 15 additional days. Paid over a 10 month period.

  • T AY 11 Pd 12: Temporary position following the academic year work schedule plus two (2) months. Paid over a 12 month period.

  • T Calendar*: Temporary position following the 12 month schedule and paid over a 12 month period.

  • T Other: Used only for unusual appointment payments. Monthly payments are determined by notation information on PAF.

    *Temporary positions typically (preferred) to follow the suggested schedule; however, in some unique cases they may have varying appointment lengths.
