Service: Twelve (12) month work schedule. Includes all days the university is officially open for business (260 days).
Vacation: Twenty-two (22) days per year plus two personal holidays. Six additional days may be accrued annually with the sick leave/vacation conversion benefit.
Compensation: Salary is paid in 12 monthly installments (260 days of compensated service - 2,080 hours).
 

AY 11 Appointment

Service: Approximates academic year (periods when classes are in session plus registration and examination periods) plus eight–week summer session work schedule. Exact schedule may vary.  Includes 208 days of scheduled service per year plus a vacation allowance of 19 days per year, for a total of 227 days of compensated service (227 days/260 days = 87% of a full year’s service).  Holidays falling during periods when work is normally scheduled are to be included in the 208 days.
Vacation: Already credited in the salary compensation, is taken during non–instructional periods. Division vice presidents may approve the use of vacation during instructional periods in exceptional cases. Up to 5.2 days may be accrued annually with the sick leave/vacation conversion benefit, plus 1.8 personal holidays. These added vacation days may be taken on regularly scheduled work days, or accrued up to a maximum of 14 days (111.8 hours).
Compensation: Salary is paid in 12 monthly installments (227 days of compensated service - 1,816 hours).
 

AY 10 Appointment

Service: Academic year plus 15 days of scheduled service work schedule. Includes 182 work days per year approximating periods when classes are in session plus registration and examination periods and 15 days of additional service during non-instructional periods, plus a vacation allowance of 17 days per year, for a total of 199 days of compensated service (199/260 days = 77% of full year’s service).  Holidays falling during periods when work is normally scheduled are to be included in the 182 days.
Vacation: Already credited in the salary compensation, is taken on days other then those designated as work days. Division vice presidents may approve the use of vacation on scheduled work days in exceptional cases. Up to 4.6 days may be accrued annually with the sick leave/vacation conversion benefit, plus 1.5 personal holidays. These added vacation days may be taken on scheduled work days, or accrued up to a maximum of 12.2 days (97.9 hours).
Compensation: Salary is paid in 10 monthly installments (199 days of compensated service - 1,592 hours).

Service: Academic year work schedule. Includes 167 days of scheduled service per year approximating periods when classes are in session plus registration and examination periods, plus a vacation allowance of 15 days per year for a total of 182 days of compensated service (182 days/260 days = 70% of a full year’s service).  Holidays falling during periods when work is normally scheduled are to be included in the 167 days.
Vacation: Already credited in the salary computation, is taken during non-instructional periods. Division vice presidents may approve the use of vacation during instructional periods in exceptional cases. Up to 4.2 days may be accrued annually with the sick leave/vacation conversion benefit, plus 1.4 personal holidays. These added vacation days may be taken on regularly scheduled work days, or accrued up to a maximum of 11.2 days (89.6 hours).
Compensation: Salary is paid in 10 monthly installments (182 days of compensated service - 1,456 hours).
