Travel and Transport provides unparalleled service as a travel management company, serving business and leisure travelers for over 53 years. The Ames office has been serving Iowa State University since 1926 and is very familiar with University travel.

Summary of services provided:

•  Experienced Travel Counselors and Management Team - average tenure of University agents is over 18 years industry experience. The skilled team assists customers in developing strategic plans to effectively maximize their travel program and total costs.

•  Group negotiations for groups of 8 or more people traveling together.

•  Quality Assurance - all reservations are quality controlled up to time of departure---this is a quality check for fares and seat assignments. If a fare is lowered, the client is notified for re-issuance of ticket.

•  Traveler’s personal profile is maintained to track all necessary data for travel.

•  After Hours IN HOUSE Emergency Assistance (800-237-3950). This service is available to both domestic and international travelers after normal business hours and on weekends and holidays, 85% of calls are answered within 20 seconds.

•  An online booking tool will be available in February for those wanting to do their travel online.

•  Vendor Relations: Vendor Relations Department is designed to optimize corporate negotiated airfares, car and hotel discounts. T&T has unlimited negotiation resources to ensure vendor discounts are among the most competitive in the market place for greatest savings.
