Remote Desktop

Printable Version

“Remote Desktop Access” allows employees the ability to use the programs and files that are on their office computer while working at another computer. Using remote access is like being in the office. All of the software programs function the same via remote access as they do when you are at the office.  Complete and submit a Request Remote Access form to gain access.

Remote Desktop access requires:

  • Internet Connection
    • Local: Cedar Falls Utilities, Media Com, AOL or another local internet provider.
    • Long Distance: Wireless connection, dial up connection or high speed internet
      connection.
  • Configuration of the office computer to accept a remote connection.
